Solar Air Water Earth Resource (S.A.W.E.R.) is a unique technology developed at the Czech Technical University in Prague to produce drinking water from air humidity, in hot and dry desert, and to cultivate the desert into fertile land.

It requires no connection to the power grid as it is powered with solar energy from photovoltaic cells.

Its first version was tested in the Sweihan desert of UAE in 2019. The improved version is on exhibition at the Czech Republic pavilion. Larger and more powerful, it has the capacity to generate 1000 liters of water per day. The water it generates is used for the irrigation of the garden around the pavilion.
